| Smell | Smells like a closet. | ||||
| Appearance | Cloudy light coppery color with huge fluffy tan head. | ||||
| Taste | After the first sip, I thought..."This is wierd". The aftertaste was very unusual. But after a few more sips, the weirdness changed to different and I almost enjoyed it. Highly carbonated with a sweet-bitter zing. | ||||
| Comments | This beer is aged in cedar casks, which I assume accounts for the different taste. I won't buy it again, but I will try other Hitachino Nest offerings. Cool (although a bit gay) owl on bottle. | ||||
