| Smell | Very little smell and no skunk, which is unusual for a green bottle import. Ordered this at a new restaurant, so perhaps it was right off the boat. | ||||
| Appearance | Pale golden yellow, modest head and moderate carbonation. | ||||
| Taste | Tastes like a regular ol' beer. Nothing spectacular and nothing objectionable. Crisp, clean and easy to drink. | ||||
| Comments | Not bad, but there is no reason to pay import prices for this beer. Not much different than big American lagers. I have a feeling Belgians export more Stella than they drink. | ||||

This is one of the beers available for sampling in the Anheuser-Busch hospitality room. I'm not a Bud fan, but since the plant is just a few blocks away...
ReplyDeleteApparently, there is some relationship between them and this beer. I had the same taste observations. Not impressive, but a touch better than regular Bud.
