| Smell | Smelled like refried beans, peppers, cheese and corn tortilla...oh wait, that was my burrito...nevermind. | ||||
| Appearance | Deep mahogany with a fairly thin head with moderate carbonation. | ||||
| Taste | Pretty intense for a red/amber ale. Starts with caramel and brown sugar sweetness then smacks you in the face with hoppy spicyness that lingers for quite a while. | ||||
| Comments | I enjoyed the pain. Another winner from Bear Republic. The burrito was good by the way. | ||||
