| Smell | Light, malty and just a bit earthy. | ||||
| Appearance | Clear reddish brown with a small, rapidly disappearing head. | ||||
| Taste | Taste is malty, with caramelly, nutty sweetness and ever so slight hop bitterness at the end. This is a nice flavorful beer that goes down smooth and easy. Carbonation was low. | ||||
| Comments | "Crafted in the style of English session ales" according to the Yards website. I prefer a bit more carbonation, but maybe it was just the bottle I had. I look forward to another Brawler and other selections from Yards. | ||||
