| Smell | Roasted coffee, chocolate and more coffee. | ||||
| Appearance | Dense black with a moderately sized mocha head. | ||||
| Taste | Big coffee taste, even more that the smell eludes to, with some nice smoky, chocolate/cocoa flavors, but the coffee dominates big time. Very smooth and easy to drink. An excellent stout. | ||||
| Comments | I'm fairly certain drinking a pint of Rise Up Stout in the morning at work would be frowned upon, so I will stick to drinking it in the evening at my local watering hole when available. Evolution is making some really good stuff. | ||||
