Leffe Blonde

Leffe (Inbev)
Leffe Blonde
Belgian Pale Ale
Leuven, Belgium
5/10/2009, bottle, 6.6 abv

Smell

A little malt and banana, but nothing outstanding.

Appearance

Clear, deep golden color with a small head that dissipated very quickly.
Taste

Sweet, malty flavor with just a touch of bitterness at the end. Basic, not complex with moderate carbonation.
Comments

I was expecting a little more from this one for some reason, but overall, a pretty good, basic beer. According to Wikipedia (and they are never wrong!), it is pronounced "lef-ah". But I'm going to pronounce it "leff-ay" because it is more fun to say. Leffe Leffe Leffe...OK, I'm done now.
