| Smell | Slight green bottle import skunk, but that went away quickly and became a sweet, malty, citrusy, clean aroma. | ||||
| Appearance | Clear, bright golden color with a white fluffy head. | ||||
| Taste | A nicely balanced taste of malt and hops with nice tingly carbonation. Very easy to drink. A great beer for a hot day. | ||||
| Comments | I enjoyed this beer with some Flaming Anus XXX Hot Habanero Potato Chips. Holy shit!! I drank the beer in about 2 minutes. Fortunately, I had another one to do a "proper" review. Spaten means spade in German and a spade is shown on the label. | ||||
