Kenzinger

Philadelphia Brewing Company
Kenzinger
Philadelphia, PA
8/2/2009, bottle, 4.5 abv

Smell

Light malt and hop aroma, with the hops up front.

Appearance

Clear, golden honey color with a good sized head.

Taste

A nicely balanced beer with the right touch of sweet citrus tang and hoppy bitterness. Very clean and refreshing.

Comments

Thanks to Melissa and Shaun for bringing the PBC variety pack from Philadelphia. They also brought the PBR, but I won't hold that against them.

This is a Kölsch style beer. I mention that just so I can use an umlaut. It's weird that the word umlaut has no umlauts.
