| Smell | Nice hoppy aroma with some grapefruit and pine. | ||||
| Appearance | Bright golden orange with a smallish white head. | ||||
| Taste | A well balanced combination of malty sweetness, grapefruit twang and nice piney, bitter hoppiness. The grapefruity citrus taste was very pronounced and the hoppy aftertaste was not overly bitter. | ||||
| Comments | Loose Cannon is very good IPA. I found it to be juicy. I know, that sounds weird, but it was juicy. | ||||

Loose Cannon is a great IPA. Being a craft brewery Clipper city brews are not always the same in consistency. Some batches are so perfect that it's insane. I'd say 2 out of 5 are close to perfect. This beer is best out of the keg or cask.
ReplyDeleteThis beer is awesome on tap. But I've bought a few six packs and both have been different and somewhat disappointing, so I agree it seems to be inconsistent.
