Stroh's

Pabst/Heileman
Stroh's
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
12/21/2009, bottle, 4.6 abv

Smell

Very faint with slight whiff of corn & grain.

Appearance

Clear, pale golden yellow with moderate fizz and head.

Taste

For a cheap American lager, this was pretty good. Better than Bud, PBR, Coors, etc. Basic beer taste. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Comments

The bartender at this particular restaurant keeps Stroh's on hand strictly for my ex-boss. This fact was unknown to our new waiter who was almost reduced to tears when he mistakenly brought him a Coors Light.

The label I am showing is an old one from my youth. It states that it is fire brewed and Bohemian Style and while I don't know what that means, it is cooler than the current label. Stroh's is one of the first beers I ever purchased by the case when I was 16.
