| Smell | Pine needles, sap, and grapefruit. | ||||
| Appearance | Bright golden orange with a moderate, bright with head. It may have even had a halo around it, but I might have just imagined that. | ||||
| Taste | A fantastic fusion of sweet malt and hoppy bitterness. Definitely not a hop bomb, but a perfectly balanced beer with floral, piney, citrusy, and fruity flavors. The 8.0% alcohol is non-existent in the taste, but it sneaks up on you because it is so smooth and goes down way too easy. | ||||
| Comments | Truly one of the Holy Grails of beer. Too bad it's so hard to find. They don't distribute in Maryland...I had to go to California just to try it. | ||||

So sad they don't distribute to the east coast. I'd be all over it in a second. The Communist Republic of California isn't somewhere I plan to visit any time soon so it looks like I will have to be satisfied with just reading reviews of how awesome this beer is.
