| Smell | Roasted malt, a little coffee...nice, but nothing special. | ||||
| Appearance | Deep, dark brown with a nice toffee colored nitro head that clung to the sides until the very end. I suspect the nitro had a lot to do with that. | ||||
| Taste | The taste is roasted malts, a little burnt coffee and a little chocolate. Finishes a little drier than most oatmeal stouts I have had. Mouthfeel was smooth & creamy, but again, the nitro probably helped with that. | ||||
| Comments | I like oatmeal stout, but this one was just average. Not bad, not good, but in the middle. Or in keeping with Arcadia's nautical theme, this stout is midship. | ||||
