| Smell | The smell is sweet, piney and citrusy. | ||||
| Appearance | Deep, clear amber red with a big, fluffy off-white head. | ||||
| Taste | The taste is spectacular. Starts off with sweet malt flavor, followed by some pine and finishes with a big, clean, grapefruity hop finish with no lingering bitter aftertaste. Very well balanced. The fairly high alcohol is extremely well hidden, in fact, I didn't taste it at all. I felt it, but I didn't taste it. Quite possibly the best beer I have to date. | Comments | This beer goes down dangerously easy. I had 2 at a restaurant and the wife had to drive home. Exercise caution. | ||||

ReplyDeleteI would go with P the E any time. I was even thinking about demoting Undercover...I bought a 6 pack shortly after the review and was somewhat disappointed. It is much better on tap.
