Bear Republic Nor' Cal

	Bear Republic Brewing Company Nor' Cal Healdsburg, CA 5/13/2010, on tap at Frisco Grille, 4.8 abv
Smell	Mild citrus smell with grapefruit and orange.
Appearance	Light brownish orange with a white 1/4" head and nice carbonation.
Taste	Bear Republic calls Nor' Cal a California Bitter. I found it to be smooth and very drinkable. The sweet malts and citrusy hops work well together and finish with a slightly bitter zing. A good summer brew.
Comments	I was told that Nor' Cal is Racer 5's little brother. Being a little brother myself, I wonder if Nor Cal has to use Racer 5's old bottles and if his mother likes Racer 5 best. (Just kidding mom - don't call)
