Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial IPA

Moylan's Brewery
Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial IPA
Novato, California
2/12/2100, on tap at The Judge's Bench, 9.2 abv

Smell

Bursting with hops, grapefruit and pine.

Appearance

Slightly hazy, deep amber with a decent but fast disappearing head.

Taste

There is some malty sweetness, but this is a hop-bomb all the way. Piney hops, grapefruity hops and just plain ol' bitter hops. The alcohol is definitely present, but not unpleasant.

Don't go into this expecting a nice balanced IIPA.

Comments

I enjoyed this one until I got the bill. To date the most expensive pint I've ever had, including stadium beer.
